Greetings on the third day of our 12 Days of Christmas Magic Items reveals.
We hope you enjoyed your first two festive magic items. Hopefully it won’t ruffle too many feathers that we’ve still got birds on the brain with today’s gift.
Please do get in touch when you use today’s gift in a game. Let us know if your players can master its magic or if they end up with egg on their face!

On the third day of Christmas, my GM gave to me…
A jasper effigy of a chicken’s head rests at the top of this trident, and an egg-shaped amethyst is fixed to its base. It is a strange weapon, but is highly coveted by farmers and livestock owners.
Weapon (trident), rare
This trident has 4 charges, and regains 1d4 expended charges at dawn. While attacking with this weapon, you can expend 1 of its charges to cast the Polymorph spell (save DC 13) and transform your target into a hen for 1 hour. If you expend the wand’s last charge, roll a d10. On a 1, yolk explodes out of the egg-shaped gem at the base of the trident and the weapon loses its enchantment.

Season's greetings and a very warm welcome to our new Kickstarter campaign – Roll & Play: The Game Master’s Christmas Essentials!
The support we’ve received from everyone truly has been the best gift we could have hoped for when launching this new project.
We were fully funded in just 44 minutes, and we're now 120% funded within the first hour. Currently, around 80% of our support is made up from backers who are returning from a previous project – thank you, we're so glad to see so many of you again!
Now we're fully funded, the project will definitely go ahead. We will continue adding the final festive flourishes to all the items, in the hope they will be in your virtual stockings as soon as possible after the campaign closes.
